Signed in users such as teachers may work together using the services; however, there are no social features in the product intended to facilitate interactions between students or other users. We do not publicly display your personal or student information that you have submitted to us or that we have collected in the product. This does not restrict users from sharing their own personal information on other websites or applications, which are governed by the privacy policies of those respective platforms.
Our service is free from any advertising including any contextual or personalized advertising. We may contact teachers and administrators directly to market and promote our services; however, we will never use student records for this purpose. Additionally, we do not collect or process personal information for the purpose of tracking for personalized advertising. Similarly, we do not ask users to participate in third-party sweepstakes, contests, or other promotional activities.
As part of providing our services, we may share data with third party vendors who process information to help us provide our services. This includes security and compliance, app functionality, developer notifications, account management, product personalization, first party marketing, and analytics. Please note that we establish contractual limits with third-party vendors regarding the extent and purposes for which they can use personal information that we may disclose to them. You can stop receiving promotional email communications from us by clicking “unsubscribe” in such communications or contacting us directly. We make every effort to promptly process all unsubscribe requests.

These links are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. Our service is designed to be used by teachers and administrators in an education context. However, as part of our services, we may process student records and data from children 13 years of age and under, as provided to us by schools and teachers.

When we provide services on behalf of a school, the school provides consent for Grouper Education to collect and process information from students under the age of 13 as permitted by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. In addition, we collect, maintain, use, and disclose student records solely for authorized educational purposes.
When Grouper is used outside of a school setting, we will obtain verifiable parental consent from a parent or guardian before collecting or processing personal information from children under the age of 13, as provided by the user.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you as required by applicable law and we will update the date of this Privacy Policy and post it on the services or other appropriate means.
